Quetzal Gardens is an affordable rental community completed in 2021. It is centrally located in E. San José , CA, and close to shopping, schools, dining, and lies on a VTA Bus Rapid Transit line.

Quetzal Gardens is a new construction, 6-story building with 4 floors of residential over 2 floors of commercial and parking. There are 70 rental apartments of which 28 are set-aside for formerly homeless households directly referred by Santa Clara County. An additional four apartments are directly referred by the Santa Clara County Housing Authority. 

Unit Mix: 30 one-bedroom; 13 two-bedroom; and 28 three-bedroom apartments (includes one manager’s unit).

Amenities: on-site management and resident services; car and bicycle parking; a landscaped courtyard with a children’s play area; security cameras; on-site laundry; green design and construction; and, is a non-smoking community per City of San José  ordinance.

Eligibility is income-restricted, as are rents, in accordance with the Low Income Housing Tax Credit program and other funding regulatory agreements.
