The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey has contracted expert consultants to conduct these studies in accordance with FAA rules and regulations. Environmental Science Associates (ESA) is leading the Part 150 Study for JFK, having extensive experience in conducting Part 150 Studies nationwide.
The Port Authority welcomes public input during the study process and encourage all interested parties to bookmark this site and refer back here for updates and information while the study progresses. The navigation tabs on this site are consistent across all of the Part 150 Study websites. Please familiarize yourself with them for ease of use:
- Schedule: Dates for deliverable items, review periods, and implementation periods.
- Meetings: Consists of Information for public meetings, hearings, and the associated supporting documents.
- Documents: Noise Exposure Maps (NEMs), Noise Compatibility Program (NCP), and supported files, including handouts from public meetings, presentations, and other supporting documents.
- Links: Relevant further reading information and supporting content, including the FAA website, Port Authority WebTrak flight tracking site, and information on the consultants.
- FAQs: Please refer to the FAQ section for detailed information on the Part 150 process and the associated terminology; what it is, how it works, etc. Familiarization with FAQ items is essential for a productive study.
