Virtual Extended Keyboard

Virtual Extended Keyboard allows you to type numpad using Mac keyboard without numpad. It also allows you to type f1-f20 on Macbook with touch bar without using touch bar.

Installation

  • Copy the Virtual Extended Keyboard.app to your Applications folder.
  • First time when you run, it'll display a system alert asking you to allow accessibility permission in system preference, and the app will quit.
  • Grant the accessibility permission in system preference and run the app again
  • Make sure you can find the app in menu extra by pressing vo+m twice
  • Open up a text editor and press fn+j, fn+k, fn+l, and it should type 1 2 3
