Meet our presenter: Dr. Jamie Elifritz

Dr. Elifritz is a board-certified Diagnostic Radiologist and an Associate Professor at the University of New Mexico, School of Medicine, with a dual appointment in the Department of Radiology and the Department of Pathology. She is also Chief of Forensic Imaging at the New Mexico Office of the Medical Investigator and Chief Medical Director of Forensic Radiology Group (FRG). Dr. Elifritz completed a Musculoskeletal and Forensic Radiology fellowship at the University of New Mexico with a concentration in Breast Imaging. In addition to numerous scientific publications in peer reviewed journals, she co-authored the book Child Abuse and its Mimics in Skin and Bone with the esteemed Dr. B. Gil Brogdon and authored the book chapter Forensic Radiology for the Pathobiology of Human Disease: A Dynamic Encyclopedia of Disease Mechanisms. She has presented at the American Academy of Forensic Sciences and has collaborated on presentations for the National Association of Medical Examiners (NAME) and International Society of Forensic Radiology and Imaging (ISFRI).
