Safe Summer Series was launched to create a “safe space” for neighbors to gather from Covid-19 and violence, and simply have a good time through music.
An estimated 50,000 were in attendance throughout the inaugural 2021 and 2022 season. Our team partnered with local health organizations to offer Covid-19 vaccinations and information about various health topics. BGM also engaged local food trucks and small businesses to assist with all concerts, with an estimated 75 vendors. Providing a free concert left residents with more money to put back into Birmingham’s economy.
Though society is now in a post-Covid life, we want to keep the magic of Safe Summer Series! Bringing thousands together over the love of music with great food in a safe environment. Let’s keep it going!

The Safe Summer Series is for all Birmingham residents. Of course, if you are not within Birmingham city limits, we would love to have you too! Everyone’s welcome.
Parking is FREE!
It is free! Safe Summer Series is in place to unite the Birmingham community in a safer, welcoming environment. We want ALL residents to be able to attend.
Most events do not require a ticket. However in the event that a ticket is needed. An Eventbrite link will be provided on our website. So check back frequently!
